2020 Update:

Picture
Picture

We Are pleased to present our New AND REFRESHED logo!

Picture
Picture
If you haven’t already seen it, we’re thrilled to present our brand new & refreshed logo, and as we continue to roll out some new changes & initiatives over the course of the New Year.
Picture
We feel change is inevitable, and we pride ourselves on maintaining currency in our work, evolving and adapting to always meet the needs of our service users. For anybody who has had any recent exposure to healthcare or the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), you will understand it has been a significant change to the way healthcare and disability services are provided, and as this is the space we’re working in, it has had a significant effect on the provision of our services.
Picture
So, moving forwards, we will no longer operate as: ‘Home Occupational Therapy Services’ or ‘Driving Occupational Therapy Services’ or ‘Consultancy Occupational Therapy Services’ or ‘Neuro Occupational Therapy Services’; rather we will integrate all of our services and operate under the one umbrella ‘Occupational Therapy Services Group’.
Picture
To date, we have operated our ‘service divisions’ independently of each other, with their own individual business names and individual logos. Each ‘service division’ has been funded independently and we have staffed these individually. However, since the introduction of NDIS, we have had to integrate our ‘service divisions’ to maintain continuity and as the funding now provides for services across our ‘service divisions’.
Picture
Picture
The name ‘Occupational Therapy Services Group’ was introduced in 2011 and was primarily devised as an umbrella to connect the different businesses (service divisions) that were operating from the same clinic. Its primary purpose was to link us operationally, and prior to 2020 it has never been used for clinical service provision. But as we have now integrated our staff and services, we feel it’s time to integrate our name and logo!
Picture

Picture
We feel it uses a simpler color palette and focuses on what we love about our logo - the icons that represent what we do, the colours that reflect our diverse specialty divisions, and the circles we have been using the whole way along our 18 year journey.
We believe, although simple, it is more refined, whilst still containing the spirit of the original logos. For us, it’s an evolution of a new era, and that’s what we feel we’re experiencing this past year; but what we’re most excited about is that we now have a combined look for all of our DVA, NDIS, Rehabilitation, Driving and other services!
With the roll out of NDIS we have experienced a significant change in our services, and for those eager-eyed individuals, you will notice a few other changes!
We have elected to change our ‘Neuro’ service division icon to ‘Skill Building’, which we feel better represents the rehabilitation work that we continue providing - seeing young adults and older adults, and working to build skills rather than just remediate skills lost in an acquired injury.
Picture
Picture
We have also added a new purple division ‘Assistive Technology’, and whilst we have always provided services for basic and complex equipment provision we felt we needed to add another colour to reflect the addition of our NDIS services which have grown in a short period to match the size of the other services we are providing.
Picture
We have elected to use the contemporary terms ‘Skill Building’ and ‘Assistive Technology’ rather than ‘Rehabilitation’ and ‘Equipment’, because we feel these labels better represent how our services are funded, what services are provided, and reflects the language we are now using in our daily reporting and treatments.
Picture
We LOVE our new look (thanks to the team at @Humaan) and we hope you do too!
Picture
We asked our participants what they thought and they loved it too! John-Paul thought it was “a bit fancy” and “a lot more modern” whilst also needing to comment “Wooh! Your (Chris’) office is VERY messy!”... And when we asked Ethan, he thought it was "still similar to the old logo” and quite “website-ish”, saying “it looks 10 years into the future”!
Picture
If you haven’t already, over the next few months you’ll notice this new visual look in our website, uniforms, marketing, reports and other products. Although to some of you it may appear we’re changing our name, we’re really just combining our services to improve our service provision. But ultimately it’s still us. We’re still a WA owned and operated family business. You can still contact and speak directly to your occupational therapist or the business owner. We are still experienced at what we do, and still provide comprehensive specialty services. We’re still OT run and OT led. Our services are still accessible and cost effective. We’re still leaders in our service areas and still involved in shaping practice through policy development. We still have lived experience of disability and our staff are still the same year to year and provide innovative services.
Picture

What we are saying, is that while this is a significant change, our core beliefs have not changed. We are proud of our history and what has been achieved since evolving from a sole practitioner more than 18 years ago.

Picture
Whilst we will appear a little different, our focus remains on providing the best services to our clients, and it is hoped that the changes made coming into this New Year will enhance your experience of our services.

We will let you know when our website has been updated and as we roll out new initiatives over the course of the year!

But for now, thank you for being a part of our OT Services Group community!
