Born and raised in Perth, Simon first came to Occupational Therapy Services Group in 2017 to complete his final student placement. Simon enjoyed his placement so much he has continued to work in community services and with veterans since graduating, & finally returned to Occupational Therapy Services Group in 2020 after some time travelling overseas. Simon completed his tertiary studies at ECU with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and which he began from a desire to help people improve their everyday function. Simon comes from a family of health professionals and has a passion for community based services and working within the persons own (real) environments. Simon enjoys the challenge and diversity that comes with community services and enjoys having to think and work outside of the box! Simon is currently working in our NDIS services and is enjoying this complex and ever changing work & hopes to continue to keep learning with a particular interest in complex home modification. Outside work, Simon enjoys searching for the next best brunch cafes in Perth. He is also working to develop his home gardening skills with his own veggie patch & otherwise enjoys socialising with friends and watching sport (in-particular his West Coast Eagles)!
