Graduating from the Masters of Occupational Therapy program in 2018, Brett has worked in a range of areas before completing his Occupational Therapy Driving Assessor Course in 2020. Brett came on board in September 2019 with a grounding of relevant experience, previously working in paediatrics and vocational rehabilitation. For Brett, working as an OT has been a rewarding challenge as he helps to make a difference in people’s lives and support them to improve their functional abilities and independence. As a Driver-Trained Occupational Therapist, this rewarding role extends to help individuals to get back behind the wheel, regain their independence and improve their community access. Brett also enjoys working in the community as he gets to meet a lot of different people and assist them to access supports and technology that improves their functional abilities and enables clients to get more out of life. Brett also has a special interest in assisting people to solve practical issues related to sexual expression and has completed further training, providing consultations that go under the covers to help give you the tools to achieve your sexual expression goals.
