Capacity Skill BuildingWe provide services to help you build your independence and skills in your daily living tasks. Our experienced therapists will work with you to develop the skills and educate you in strategies to manage your daily activities. Our therapy services are designed to train and assist you or a loved one to develop, improve and participate in the activities you want to do.
Assistive Technology ApplicationWe have extensive experience in and a substantial knowledge of assistive technology options to help you live more safely, actively & independently. We work with you to trial and select options that not only provide functional benefits, but that also provide comfort and suit your lifestyle. We provide comprehensive application for category 3 & 4 items and work closely with the supplier to ensure all of your needs are met, in a timely manner.
OT Driver Assessment
We provide OT Driver Assessments for Department of Transport, NDIS and other funding sources & which determines how a person's medical condition might impact on their ability to drive safely and legally. These assessments are provided to identify and further needs and we will then work with NDIS to apply for additional services to facilitate you to begin or return to driving in a timely manner.
Neuro RehabilitationWe provide neurological assessment and rehabilitation services using the latest evidence and treatment techniques. Our therapists are able to provide cognitive rehabilitation therapy, sensory and perceptual retraining, functional and activity based rehabilitation, as well as physical and upper limb rehabilitation. We provide neurological rehabilitation services for a variety of conditions, including neuro-degenerative disorders, acquired brain injuries, brain tumour and stroke.
Specialised Driver Training
We provide assessments to help determine your driving needs & then help you to access further funding to provide driver training services. This may involve a new driver learning to drive for the first time, or may also involve experienced driver's learning to use driving aids and vehicle modifications. We have our own vehicles & a team of Occupational Therapists and Driving Instructors with further rehabilitation training to support you to get on the road as soon as possible.
SDA & SIL AssessmentWe provide comprehensive SDA & SIL assessments to support NDIS participants to achieve a better quality of life through improved accommodation.
Our comprehensive assessments cover all aspects of the participants living requirements to support the person to achieve independent living and facilitate engagement in their daily tasks.

Functional Capacity AssessmentWe provide comprehensive functional capacity assessments to identify and document funding needs for NDIS plans. This includes assessment for: equipment, therapy, home modifications, aids and appliances, driving assessment and vehicle modification or other capacity building or daily living support needs (the future need for NDIS funding). We also outline core supports and care needs as part of our thorough evaluation process. Whether it be that you are transferring to NDIS for the first time, or are an existing NDIS participant, we can help you to identify your individualised needs or goals, so that your plan best works for you.
Complex Home ModificationWe provide comprehensive assessment for structural and complex home modification which may help you to access your home more safely or to accommodate mobility equipment such as a wheelchair or commode in the home. We work to the Australian Standards alongside approved architects & tradespeople to help make this process timely and stress free, & to ensure a high standard of work.
We can help to install a ramp, railing or step platform to access your home more safely; or we can advise on bathroom fixtures or structural modifications within the home. Vehicle Modification AssessmentVehicle modifications may be necessary for a variety of reasons such as to allow a person with a physical limitations to drive safely and/or stow their mobility devices. Vehicle modifications may also be required to allow a person to travel seated in a wheelchair and/or reduce the risk of injury during transfers.
We provide assessment and prescription for a range of basic and complex vehicle modifications, driving aids, & provide training in the correct use to help you and your loved ones access the community safely. Workplace Assessment & Modification We offer workplace assessments to identify environmental changes and assistive technology to enhance productivity in the workplace and improve your work potential. This may involve specific aids for people with vision or hearing impairment, provision of devices or software, workplace environmental modifications to facilitate access, or communication aids or systems.
Aids, Appliances & EquipmentWe are familiar with an extensive range of home equipment and small aids & provide assessment for prescription of these products and appliances around the home to help you manage more easily & safely. We can help you trial and connect you with a supplier of your required category 1 & 2 items.
NDIS Plan 'Needs' AssessmentWe provide comprehensive pre-planning 'needs' assessments to identify and document funding needs for upcoming NDIS plan reviews. Sex, Intimacy & DisabilityOur experienced occupational therapists provide consultations to support you with practical issues or barriers such as movement limitations, fatigue, sensory issues, pain... among others and which may impact on sexual activities and enjoyment.
Consultations are provided in the home, our centre or via telehealth. |
