Occupational Therapy Services Group is based from the main office located in Bentley, nearby to the Curtin University. Our therapists provide services in the home throughout the Perth metropolitan region and surrounding areas, with periodic services also provided rurally in Bunbury/Busselton, Geraldton, and Kalgoorlie.
We extend our specialty services to rural & remote regions of Western Australia.
We have a team of experienced practitioners providing services for NDIS, DVA, private and workplace insurers, Insurance Commission of WA (ICWA) & other aged care providers.
Services include: OT Driving Assessment, workplace and environmental assessment, functional capacity assessment, assessment for basic and complex assistive technology & other home based consultancy services.
We service the Perth, Peel, South-West, Mid-West, Wheatbelt & Goldfields regions.
How to access our services?
REBATES?
Rebates are available through Medibank Private, HBF and other Private Health Insurance companies (if you have ancilliary cover for Occupational Therapy). Please contact your insurance provider to check the rebate.
People with chronic (long-term) conditions may be eligible to receive a Medicare benefit for Occupational Therapy services. Please discuss if you are eligible for this service (Medicare Enhance Primary Care or Chronic Disease Management) with your GP.
We are registered providers for the Department of Veterans Affairs, the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA or NDIS), & also the Insurance Commission of Western Australia (ICWA). Financial assistance may also be provided towards services through the Equipment for Living Grant or may also be available for people wishing to return to work, via JobAccess or WorkCover WA, please advise our staff if you think this applies to you.
REFERRALS?
Referral is preferred. Please ask your Health Professional to complete a referral form. Please note that a referral is required to access benefit through:
If you are an NDIS participant, a copy of your NDIS plan is required in order to provide services under NDIA & a health care summary or referral is preferred when accessing some services.
COST?
Occupational Therapy Services Group is a registered provider of the above rebates. No cost applies for eligible WorkCover WA, Veteran Affairs card holders (DVA), National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS or NDIA) & Insurance Commission WA (ICWA) clients.
If this does not apply to you, we provide very affordable consults for self funded clients. Cost will vary depending on type of service provided, reporting & travel required – please contact us today to discuss your individual circumstances. We also offer a pensioner discount on driving services for eligible pensioners who are not eligible for financial support through other schemes.
