Libby had her first Occupational Therapy related experience when she was very young, after her Year 10 work experience, she fell in love with Occupational Therapy and started her career. Upon graduating, Libby was employed in Disability Employment Services and Worker’s Compensation before moving into DVA. Libby has specialised in and is passionate about safe manual handling and ergonomics - an area Libby enjoyed working in at a local private hospital where she implemented their new manual handling program and provided training for all of the hospital staff. After a stint in the UK where she worked for two years in a hospital setting, Libby joined the OTSG work family on her return to Australia. Libby predominately provides DVA services to the North of the River area, and manual handling training to various departments and groups.
Libby's passion for helping people goes beyond our clients. She also enjoys providing training and supervision to colleagues and students. Although loving being around people at work, Libby admits she does like her quiet weekends reading or knitting. Libby also has a love for travelling wherever possible, and will pack her bags at any chance!
